Detective :Stalker1
July 16, 2017
It was strange that whenever the detective was out, a female client would come. Today it happened again. When he returned from his investigation, the retired guy was talking happily with a woman. The detective felt envious. She was young, in her 20s, and somehow attractive. The retired guy was so excited that he didn't realize that the detective arrived until the detective cleared his throat. The retired guy jumped up from the sofa and introduced the woman to the detective and left to make coffee. The detective sat on the sofa and the woman started to tell her request:

She was being stalked. She felt like she was being stalked but she couldn't find the stalker. She asked the police, but they said that they wanted to prioritize people who suffered from existing stalkers.

In most case of stalkers, the stalkers make it known that they are stalking. Because of this, they appear here and there, or send the subject some pictures or sometimes call. In her case, she just felt like she was being stalked.

The detective asked when this feeling of being stalked began.
She said it started about 3 months ago. When she was window shopping, she realized a guy was looking at her on the window. When she turned back, the guy started to leave and she wasn't able to see his face. Sometimes this happened when she was out. Sometimes she looked at a guy who was looking at her, but just looking at her is not stalking. She didn't see the same man's face, but only 'somebody' was looking at her.

The retired guy, now sitting next to the detective, stood up and went to the window and looked down to the street.

After she went to the police office, she later went to a big detective office. They said that they would research anything as long as she paid its cost. She felt offended, but she asked them since her parents recommended the office. The parents said that they would pay the cost for their daughter.

The big office's way of the investigation was thorough. First, they searched her bag. They said that somebody might have secretly attached a small GPS transmitter to her bag so that the stalker could follow her easily from a good distance. But, no transmitter.

They checked her smartphone. Some spyware enables phones to take videos with GPS information. In that case, the stalker could see what she was wearing, what she was eating, who she was meeting, etc. with her present place. There was no spyware in her phone.

They checked her apartment. Somebody might have broken into her apartment and hid video cameras with a remote control. Her computer could have been hacked. In this case, the same thing could occur because present computers have a camera. They couldn't find any gadgets or bugs in her computer.

So, they started to follow her. If the stalker was secretive, the investigators should be very careful. The big office formed a big team and investigated precisely for one month, but they couldn't find the stalker.

"They said it was my imagination. If I find a stalker, they will refund my money. They have pride, they said. So, I came here. I thought only Sherlock Holmes can resolve this." The detective coughed hard and drank the coffee.

She showed the detective the report from the big office. It read that the big office also checked various large buildings. "If you can't find anybody, I'll go into a mental clinic." She said sadly.

After her leaving, the detective wrote on the whiteboard 'High Tech'. Hacking the satellite or cameras in the street? Maybe too much watching movies. He was stacked. Suddenly the retired guy shouted, "Father! Maybe her father was stalking her because he was worried about her life in a big city." The detective wrote it in small letters. The retired guy shouted again, "Ghost! She can feel ghosts. She is attractive. Even ghosts can't leave her." The detective ignored that, and sat down on the sofa crossing his arms.

The detective started to follow her. The detective's strategy was simple. Since the big company investigated big, they might have missed a small clue. He simply followed her with a certain distance.

When he started to follow her, he soon realized two things. One: She was young and attractive, so some boys naturally looked at her. Two: There were so many boys who played Pokemon Go. He didn't recognize it until then.

A high school aged student boy was approaching her from the opposite direction. The boy wasn't looking ahead, watching his smartphone. Just before he was about to hit her, he dodged her and continued to walk. The detective stopped. Soon the boy realized that the detective was standing there. He raised his eyes and looked at the detective with suspicious eyes. Both didn't say anything. The boy returned to his game and started walking. The detective stood staring at his back until the boy couldn't be seen anymore.
