| She liked reading. Her weak point was that she got too deeply involved in the books which she read. Sometimes she couldn't recognize whether it was real or just in the book. This time she was reading a mystery. In the mystery, a guy killed his girlfriend because he had a new girlfriend. The guy tricked the police but his new girlfriend incidentally knew that his former girlfriend had died under unnatural circumstances. The woman started to doubt her boyfriendc She had a boyfriend. Her boyfriend was a good-looking guy. She thought, "Why does this good-looking
Her boyfriend asked her in the restaurant, "You look annoyed by something today." She replied, "Nothing. My boss scolded me today." She knew that if she had some unusual actions, he might realize about her doubt about him. She should force herself to be as calm as possible. After the restaurant, they were walking down an alley. She didn't want to walk through this lonely dark place. Suddenly he asked, "Do you know about my past?" She didn't look at him because she was so astonished that she felt her face become white. She forced her voice not to tremble and replied, "What do you mean?" He said in a low voice, "It's very strange and mysterious that every time I become intimate with them, my former girlfriends, they become sick, and tragically pass awa c" He couldn't finish. She wanted to escape but her legs wouldn't move. When he grabbed her hand she was about to scream. But, at that instance, he looked at her and smiled, and said, "It's just a joke." Her boyfriend led her to a bookstore. He knew her well and knew about her habit of being involved in stories that she read. He chose one book from the Romance section; he had looked at it in advance; in this story's ending, the couple lived happily ever after. |
