Slope 2
March 16, 2014
She lived in a house on the top of the hill in the suburbs.@The road from the foot of the hill to her house was long and steep.

There had been many men who came to her house to propose to her.
But, they were all refused and were very shocked at this.
When each were on their way back, each fell down and hit his head on the base and ended up dying.

She was worried about the situation.
At first, she thought that she needed to change her living place, but this house was her parents' house and she had a lot of memories about it; so she couldn't move.

One day, her friend came and said, "You don't need to move from this house. Each
of those suitors came here on their own responsibility.  For men, to propose to a woman has always been risky in any era."  Her friend laughed out loud.
But the woman didn't find it funny at all.  So far, ten men who were refused had died.

Looking at her sad face, her friend said, "You can put a sign at the foot of the slope which reads 'I'll refuse any proposal from any man for a certain time period.'

The woman said, "I already tried it.  But they don't care about the sign at all, and still they come here, and still the same thing happens: they die."  She sighed.

After thinking for a little while, her friend shone her eyes, "I have a good idea."
They asked a carpenter to make a gate at the base of the slope and install an intercom in it.
Then, a man who wanted to meet her had to call her through the intercom in advance.  After calling, she would go to the gate to refuse their proposal.

But this method didn't work for long.
One day, a guy, after her refusal, started to follow her up on the hill like stalkers do.  He became so excited that he missed a step and fell down and died.
She immediately broke the gate and the intercom.

Her friend, watching the gate being removed, said, "I have come up with another idea. How about writing a letter? You wouldn't need to tell them directly.
The woman smiled, "Why didn't I come up with this simple plan?!!!"

But the result was not that simple. The men who received the letter didn't want to believe it, and came to her house anyways and ... they died.

But the woman became stubborn, and insisted for the men to write letters.
She would send letters to the guys who proposed: it would read 'Please wait for a while until further notice', but she wouldn't write to them.

This worked for a little while, but it didn't last long.
There were many guys who received this letter; and, when coincidentally several of them who happened to be drinking at the same bar, they came to know that they were in the same situation.
They got angry, "She is playing us."
So, a lot of drunken guys went to her house together, and started to curse her, complaining.

She exploded.
She pushed them with all her might, shouting various curses to each of them.
They fell down one next to the other.

But this time, they were different from before.
They had a strong anger against her, and this anger made them refuse to be subjected by her. So they remained. Nobody died.  They survived because of their wills.

After the incident, no guys ever went back to her house.
