| She helped an old man who was about to be run over by a car. She jumped in front of the car and rescued him. God was amazed by her bravery and said, "You are so brave and kind. I want to give you three wishes. You can ask for anything you want." She was in her early twenties, not beautiful but somehow attractive. Her eyes shone bright and said, "Wow! Three wishes, with no limits! In that case let me see … first, I'd like to make all the poor people in the world not to be poor; secondly, I'd like to remove all diseases from the world ..." God became a little upset and said, "Wait, wait! I'm sorry to say this. I admit what you did was great, and only a few people could do that. But still, it was not that big so to deserve a change of world-wide problems. And, even if you deserve it, it would needs great time and energy to resolve. I'm kind of busy now. I hope you wish within your own personal settings." The girl retorted, "You said I should ask anything that I want, so I told you that. Ok, anyway, how about making me a 'goddess'. In that case, I can do those things by myself. You don't need to do any effort." God sighed and said, "To make you a 'goddess', it would need very complicated
She said, "Sorry, but I am not interested about those things." God sighed again and said, "I have to admit that you are an exceptional person. I even like you. But, unfortunately I have very little extra time to spend with you. How about thinking more simply … or, maybe you can give these wishes to another person." This time she thought for a bit longer and told her three wishes: a white pen which you can write anywhere with; a blue luminous, same type of pen; and, an eraser for these pens. God looked disappointed to hear these less than common wishes. He felt responsible to hurry her. Soon the three items dropped from the blue sky. Picking them up, she smiled. She opened the cap of the white marker and thought for a moment and looked up to the sky. She started to write in the air, words spread on the blue sky. It read 'HELLO!' Soon some people noticed it. They thought it was an advertisement which a department store asked a plane; the shape of 'HELLO' looked like plane vapor trails. But suddenly it was wiped away from left to right. A big commotion could be heard here and there. It was like a scream. And then, this time real screams happened from a lot of different places. She wrote 'HOW ARE YOU?' This time people realized this was not the plane vapor trails any more. 'I' suddenly appeared from the top and it went down, next there was a horizontal line (-) and then another 'I' again, it read 'H'. And other letters were written towards the right. Is this a message from aliens? All pedestrians stopped and looked up in the sky, it was their first time to see the sky in a long time. Drivers pulled over their cars and got out and started to talk with each other. Many people left their buildings. Maybe their family or friends called or mailed them. In this town almost all the people were looking up at the sky. From somewhere chanting of the children echoed, "How are you? How are you? How are you?" She got momentum. She erased it and wrote 'I'M FINE, THANK YOU! AND YOU?' The children's chant changed into, "I'm fine, thank you! I'm fine, thank you! I'm fine, thank you!" The communication between the children and her lasted. God was looking at her in amazement. He had to admit her uniqueness. Now He was thinking about the night. She must be going to write something on the black night sky with the blue luminous marker. She might think about a collaboration with some stars. If clouds appear, He will needs to remove them with His power. "It won't be trouble for me at all." He smiled. (The End) |
