Salaried Worker-4
November 11, 2012
He pushed more than ten door bells but nobody bought his products.  On his way home he dropped by the house of one of his relatives; he was his older sister's son, and was an expert of the internet.  The salesman explained to his relative about this absurd selling system, as well as his sad history of visiting the houses so far.   His nephew, in his early 20's, was quietly listening to him talking, but when the guy mentioned about the old woman who he had visited first, the nephew's eyes shone and said, "You can get a lot of money from your company."
The next day, the guy and his nephew created a new web site entitled, '500 Dollars Sharp'.
The website guaranteed that the products were absolutely worth 500 dollars.  They showed the guy's company's
name on the website.  His company was kind of a big company, so it made people trust the site to a certain degree.  His company didn't complain about the two using their name on the website. The company selected those products to be sold carefully in order to match their retail price.  Secretly however, they thought the products couldn't sell so well because the price was not as good when compared to other shops.
Actually, the company was right.  The products didn't sell a lot.  But in the Internet world, there are a certain number of people who think differently from normal people.  They doubt the price in shops; they hate shop workers giving discounts people depending on whether or not the customers were tough negotiators.  Furthermore, they also hate web-shops because they price differently for one kind of product, which makes them confused.  So, some people who searched the web thought that the '500 Dollars Sharp' shop was honest.  The number of sold products was not so great, but still a certain number of products sold.
Again, his company brushed-off the website because they didn't feel at risk, and thought the site would soon be stuck.  Of course, they didn't know that their worker and his nephew were thinking about the next stage, the genuine one.
