Queen

She was a queen. @She had a lot of subjects.  One day she asked one of her subjects, "Who is the most beautiful woman in the world?"   He hesitated for a second but said, "I think it's you, Majesty."
    Soon he was executed.
On another day, the queen asked another subject, "Who is the most beautiful woman in the world?"  He said without hesitation, "It's you, Majesty."
    Soon he was executed.
Following day, the queen asked yet another subject, "Who is the most beautiful woman in the world?"  He said in desperation, "I don't know ... but I think you are rather beautiful ..."
    Soon he was executed.
On different day, the queen asked another subject, "Who is the most beautiful woman in the world?"  He said, "It's up to you."   The queen wanted to execute him quickly but he was young and kind of handsome so she asked, "What do you mean by 'It's up to me'?"
The young soldier said, "If you declare that you are the most beautiful, nobody would object it.  But maybe, you don't want
to do this, because it would force people to say this, and you hate flattering complements.  But, on the other hand, you truly believe that you are the most beautiful.  This is your dilemma.  You have to decide whether you follow your own idea or believe in what somebody says, whether that person really believes it or not."
The queen thought for a second and said, "Ok, in that case, I'll follow your idea." and so she re-asked the question, "Who is the most beautiful woman in the world?"   The soldier answered, "It's you, Majesty."   The queen stared at him for a while and decided to leave him for the time being.
