Using the translating machine, bold and fearless as well as, sometimes, reckless young men and women appeared:

Suddenly a young man appeared in a remote area of a country in Africa. He said to one of the villagers that he had broken up with his girlfriend, and to please let him stay there until his broken heart was cured.

The villager was very upset. It had been a long time since a stranger had visited this village since the first time, and more surprisingly the young man spoke their language (using the machine).

The villager took the young man to the leader of the village. They thought that this man didn't look like a bad guy; and, if they refused him, he might go to the nearest cliff and jump. The young man looked very serious and dismayed.  They decided to accept him for a couple of days, and the young man started to stay in the villager's house.

The next day, he woke up, and started to walk around the village. The young man's
heart was broken, but he was young and had energy. He said hello to villagers. Villagers were surprised at this sudden newcomer but returned his greetings shyly, they were honest and obedient people like him.

For the young man, there was nothing to lose. He was carefree and easygoing like any other young men raised in a middle-class family. He was an only child. He was not spoiled but yet somehow out of reality, and so he came here.

Soon, his broken heart story spread through the village, and the villagers felt sympathy toward him. He was the only young man in the village and he reminded them of their children and grandchildren who left this village and lived in cities. They were poor but gave him some food.

At first the villagers were very interested in his translating machine. For them it was new technology. But, soon they lost their curiosity about the machine. They were too poor and had too many things to do for their life. They worked from early morning to dusk. Their farms were small and did not produce much food. They lived in small wooden houses that leaked when it rained.

When he realized that the villagers were too old, and couldn't repair their roofs themselves, he decided to repair them. He had experience to repair his family's roof with his father.

He asked some of the villagers to help him, and they willingly agreed to it.
He didn't know about wood well and one of the villagers who knew a good deal about wood joined the team. As they started to repair the roof of one house, many male villagers joined in and assisted the team.

An old women's team made lunch for them. It reminded the villagers of their younger days when they worked together to build their houses.

After they repaired all of the villagers' roofs, they started to repair the pillars and walls of the houses.

After that, one of the team members suggested about digging a well. Now they needed to carry water from the far mountainside. This time they needed a professional. They asked a specialist from the city and they worked hard. When fresh water flowed from the new well, the young man said it might be time he should return home.

On this day, all the villagers gathered in front of the house in which the young man stayed. In front of the villagers, the leader of the village gave a small speech about how they appreciated his contributions. Without his help, their lives would have become much harder.

At the end of the speech, the leader said, "The young man repaired many things in this village as well as his own broken heart." Villagers laughed and then began to cry. He also did. He couldn't believe that he was this helpful because he was just young. Although, all of the villagers knew it was more than just being young.

These type of young people started to appear here and there. It looked like a new type of frontier.
