Three Wishes
March 23, 2014
He helped an old woman who was about to be run over by a car.  He jumped in front of a car and rescued her.  God was amazed of his bravery and said, "You are so brave and kind. I want to give you three wishes.  You can say anything you want."

He was a young guy so he naturally said, "I want a pretty woman as a girlfriend."
God nodded and cast a spell.  A beautiful woman suddenly came from nowhere and said to him, "I love you."

The young man was a little disgusted at her sudden unrealistic confession to a stranger like him, and said to God, "If possible, I would like you to make this meeting more natural, please."

God said, "I'm kind of busy these days, so I
skipped the details. If you insist on the small things like that, then I can change the situation, but, I will treat it as your second wish."

The man remembered the old tale in which a man who spent his three wishes vainly; he lost his chance to be a millionaire.
So, he accepted this and left his two wishes for the future.

She was a beautiful girl and her nature was also good, so naturally he came to love her.
But, one thing started to bother him: her love to him must be because of God's influence.

One day, at last, he told his second wish to God, "I would like you to remove your involvement from her mind."
God said, "She had a predisposition to love you. Her father was a good guy and resembles you, so I arranged for her to meet you."
But the guy insisted on his idea.

So, God removed her first artificial feeling toward him which God originally planted in her.
But her view of him didn't change.  Because, they had been dating for several months, she began to really love him.

He was still not satisfied with this result.
He asked God, "Please erase her memories after our first meeting. I want to start from the beginning."

God was angry at his stubbornness but he couldn't ignore him, because this was his third wish that he promised.
God erased all her memories; in addition to returning her to where she had originally lived, which was in a different city.

The guy was upset. He didn't think about this. He asked God to tell him where she lived, but God didn't say, only, "I just returned her to where you wanted."

Two years had passed.
He had been looking for her everyday from morning till night all over the country.
One day, he heard a rumor that a woman who looked like her worked as a waitress in this town.

He went to the restaurant and opened the door.
He immediately found her.  He proceeded to her and then grabbed her hand and took her out of the restaurant.
He said to her in surprise, "I love you."

.  .  .
She smiled and said, "This is my first wish from God, and I don't think that I will need another two wishes anymore."
