After the coronavirus has subsided, the world might change back to the original situation. But, he didn't think so. While staying at home, people have started to rethink about themselves, their family, and their jobs. Companies thought about themselves, too. When the coronavirus pandemic started, the world had started some changes: CO2 Reducing Systems : Electric cars, No-plastic bags, New energy Sharing economy: Share riding, Share rooms as hotels Subscription models: Pay-per-view movies, Rental clothing 5G and 4K, 8K TV: TV, Smart phones, Games AI, Autonomous driving, Drones: Auto driving cars, No human delivery From those, he predicted about the post coronavirus world. [His Idea #21 : Post Coronavirus World] ・Maybe companies will become more flexible about their business. Other than  pandemic, there are a lot of risks recently: disasters, policy changes of the government, etc. They will have fewer workers, and will contract with other companies, using AI more, using temporary offices, cars, furniture, warehouse, etc. They will reduce their paper, and keep things in a cloud system in which workers can access that information from anywhere. Companies allow their workers to have side jobs and encourage to skill up for something. As they tend not to own things, things should move in a way so that delivery will become more important. Hotel rooms can be rental offices, a party place for groups, and can accept delivery food. AI computers will make this multiple purpose function more suitable. Cleaning companies will become more important.・Not only hotels but restaurants and bars will have to change. Restaurants and bars will have to make a stronger web-shopping and delivery platform. In this case, frozen food machines are important. As people will have fewer chances of going to different cultural places and foreign countries, professional chef grade food from other countries will be important. Maybe frozen food imported among nations might be major business. Airplane's main purpose might become delivering food rather than people. ・People will start to use more money for reforming their housing. Their houses will become more flexible: in order to live but also to work from, as well as to entertain. Sound proof technology will be more important. ・Entertainment businesses, theaters, sports watching facilities, music, movies, etc., will become more virtual, as well as pay-per-view TV, thus 5G and bigger TV sets will be important. ・For local lodging, providing working comfortable places will be important: relaxing, quiet, hot springs, nature, and, of course free WiFi. ・As companies make their businesses more flexible, workers need to be more skillful. They will need to start to learn other languages, computer and AI skills, etc. ・As workers spend more time at home and in their residential areas, they might think to make their towns safer and cleaner and more attractive. In this case, the cities will be more comfortable places to live and work, a good circle per se. |
