His Ideas 9 ~ Skilling Up
November 5, 2020
Of course, he knew that genres like net-shopping companies, delivery companies, TV game companies, net-movie companies, computer software companies relating to remote work like Zoom, had been increasing their sales because people were at home for more time. But, he didn't know that construction was one of the genres that had increased their sales. He thought that because a lot of companies were laying off people or reducing workers' salaries, both companies and people didn't have confidence to construct new offices or homes.

But, to come to think of it, the more time people stayed at home, the more they might think of renovating their house. Some would feel noisy with their kids because they didn't have their own space to work; even single people would want to change to a better staying place as they would stay there more.

Actually, he recently received a lot of flyers in the newspaper from construction companies recommending renovations. Plus, some people started to think about living in rural areas, as more and more companies allowed their workers to work remotely. Living in rural areas means low cost of living, and inexpensive land to make a new house.

For construction workers, while working, sometimes outside, separately from other workers, there are few chances to talk, and less risks to contract the coronavirus, so it wouldn't interrupt their business.

A long time ago, an economist recommended that the government should make a grant or a tax exemption for construction of a study area at home. In this country, only a few houses have a study room, although they often have children's rooms. The economist stated that this policy would encourage construction as well as a sense of studying for adults: Adults could become better professionally qualified for their work.

[His Idea #9 : Skilling Up]

How about giving grant or tax exemptions for those who would be willing to study.

#For construction of a study
#For computers to study
#For costs for studying in schools (web & real) like below:
・Second languages
    ・Financial planner
    ・Accounting
    ・Computer programing
・Facilitator of meetings
    ・AI
・Computer game designer
・Web designer

When he was thinking about this, he remembered some policies that already existed. He checked on the internet and came to know that the government gives subsidies to the cost of 20%, up to $1,000, for studying Social insurance consulting, Care management, Electrical engineering, Civil engineering management, Real estate management, and Bookkeeping. This grant should be updated to increase the funding as well as to cover more topics of studying.
