His Ideas 7 ~ Rental Container Room
October 22, 2020
From newspapers and other information, he could say that one of the most probable places to contract the coronavirus were restaurants and bars. Those type of locations that provide food and drink, and places where people can enjoy conversation.

Households are another place to transmit the coronavirus to each other, because people live together and talk a lot with each other. But recently, he had a different idea about that. Each family member might be more careful against spreading the coronavirus than a single person, because they would think that if they contracted the coronavirus, they could transmit it to their family members and loved ones.

Couples and friends are similar. They don't want to transmit their coronavirus to their partners or friends.

Many companies might think the same way.
If some of their workers contract the coronavirus, the company's business efficiency and reputation would go down. So, bosses would announce to their workers to avoid risky places and occasions as much as possible; if they talk, they should wear a mask; etc...

On the other hand, if you look at the coronavirus cluster cases in restaurants, not only people who were sitting at the same table contracted the virus, but also people who were sitting at tables apart from the probable epicenter person contracted the virus. In the same room, especially closed spaces like restaurants, the virus could flow for a certain period of time within a certain distance.

[His Idea #7 : Rental Container Room]

When he was reading the local newspaper, he came across an article that talked about a company in his prefecture that developed a container house for disaster areas. A decade before, a big tsunami had hit his prefecture and there were many victims. A lot of temporary houses were built in the area. Thinking about frequent disasters these days, the company recently developed a movable container house which contained a kitchen and a toilet. The self contained water system is used repeatedly after a purifying process. And, a solar power generation system is used for electricity.

By reading this article, it triggered an idea to use this type of container inside of a vacant commercial buildings. There were many vacant commercial buildings in the city areas in this country. How about setting this type of portable rooms in these warehouses?

The owners would be happy if the units were temporary. They could return to the original situation at any time. They could get money for rental. They wouldn't need any additional construction.

For customers, they could use a clean room with a kitchen and a toilet for a gathering place. The room could stock various alcohol and delicious frozen food, which could be refilled by bars and restaurants near the building. Of course, the customers could place delivery orders for any food.

After the use, the cameras in the room would calculate what the customers consumed, like a no-man convenience store, and could charge it through their smartphones. Refilling information also would be sent to the restaurants and bars automatically. Customers could check the vacancy of rooms in advance and book one. As the room was booked in advance, maintenance companies could easily schedule their cleaning plans. As the rooms were the same sized units, some auto-cleaning systems or auto-washing dish system might be installed. They could create an ultraviolet ray disinfection system...

And, if a disaster happened, they could be moved easily to the disaster area and would be ready to be used for the victims.
